Dr. Avery Jackson III received a degree in biology from the University of Chicago; medical degree from Wayne State University; internship in general surgery at Northwestern University; and neurosurgery residency at Penn State University. He completed a complex neurosurgical spine fellowship at the Medical College of Wisconsin. He is a board-certified neurosurgeon.
He is the founder and chief executive officer of the Michigan Neurosurgical Institute PC from 2004-2024. He is the Founder/ Trustee of The Body Healthcare, a national ministry, driven to bring wellness back to healthcare.
Education and communication are extremely important to Dr Jackson. As a result of this interest, he created MNI Great Lakes ECHO LLC dba Great Lakes Learning) in 2017, which facilitates high-quality medical education and provides continuing medical education credit for many organizations and meetings.

October 2025, in progress. 90-day trial of oral Cardio Miracle™ on Blood Pressure, Pulse, Quality of Life Scores, and Vitamin D Levels Among Other Labs in 20 People From the Southeastern Michigan Area.

He presented research at several national and international neurosurgical and spine conferences. He has participated and led several investigational trials.
He holds over 20 patents for inventions in areas of neurosurgery and general surgery. He serves on several boards.
